This piece is a great example of beauty and functionality. It teaches you how to create skins for an iPod with a company logo. This caught my eye because of the bright colors, sharp lines, and cool shapes. I like that the font used at the bottom relates to the piece and is very creative. I don't really like the yellow mountain-looking things at the bottom. I think that it would have looked better to use some sort of hard shape, like the triangles used by the grey iPod, pop three or five of those in there, red, purple, blue, pink, and teal. But over all it's super eye catching, and really holds the attention of the viewer, with the amount of colors, shape and words.

I like this
ReplyDeleteWow! That piece is really cool! I love how the letters near the bottom look like they're headphones. You're so right about the mountain things at the bottom. It just doesn't really fit in to the sharp edges and geometry in the rest of it. Great job on the comment! :)
ReplyDeleteVery interesting picture. LOVE the font. and all the bright colors. Great choice of art. (:
ReplyDeleteI love your eye for color and shapes Brit. This tutorial looks like it could be very fun to do.
ReplyDeleteI like how we both wanted to change that yellow blob on the bottom, but it still looks cool!
ReplyDeleteCool I wish I had an iPod that did that
ReplyDeleteI love the detail in this. it looks really good. it looks like the perfect amount of detail where it has just enough detail to keep you interested, but not so much that it would get confusing
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of being and oneness with pictures, especially this one. I would definitely not have been able to read that far into it.
